Settlement Visit

Yesterday my good friend Nabil (@NabilFahel) and I visited Settlement Co, the newest coffee shop to open its doors in KW. We received a warm welcome and were able to scope out the well-designed space. Complete with an in house roaster, a one-of-a-kind (in KW) water filtration system, one of the largest Nuova Simonelli machines on the planet and a very experienced staff at the controls, I'm pretty sure they are going to be a major player very soon. Though the roasted coffee had not rested long enough for us to try, they were kind enough to show us what the machine could do by offering us an espresso and cappuccino using beans from another roaster. It was very good but I'm sure their roast will be better since they will be in full control from green bean to cup. Find out for yourself, they open at 7am on December 8.
