About Contrabean Coffee Company

Founded in October 2016, Contrabean's goal is to help coffee lovers explore and experience the world of specialty coffee from the comfort of home. Primarily an on-line store, with shipping or local pick-up, it is a labour of love with one coffee lover at the helm.

Being a small roaster allows Contrabean to carry a greater variety of coffee in smaller quantities.

Having formed relationships with a handful of select coffee importers who travel to specific growing regions, establishing relationships at the farm or co-op level. Through these relationships Contrabean has been able to purchase specialty coffees that are traceable to their origin.
